You have probably already heard of "Will it blend?", a show where all sorts of things are thrown in a blender. A few if the items they have blended: glass marbles, a can of spam (a spammer would have been a better idea), an iPhone, cans of soda, ...
By popular demand, they have tried something that you could definitely rank as a "very bad idea": six Bic Lighters! Flammable gas near fast spinning steel blades and a high power electric motor = recipe for disaster. The blender survived, though, and so did the guy who operated it. If he has any sanity (wich I doubt he has), he used empty lighters. Or he was incredibly lucky...
